Seirei Asha Bhavan is a registered voluntary social service organization functioning under
the Seirei Asha Social Service Community since 1989. As a committed Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), we provide a
wide range of programs aimed at the holistic development and well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities,
senior citizens, and other marginalized individuals who require compassionate care, support, and rehabilitation.
Rooted in the principle “Love your neighbor as yourself,” Seirei Asha Bhavan works with dedication to create an environment
of dignity, respect, and opportunity for those who need it most.
Seirei Asha Bhavan began its humble journey in 1989 in a small rented building at Punalur,
inspired by faith, compassion, and a deep concern for persons with intellectual disabilities who were often neglected
and excluded from society.
We started as a small act of service slowly grew into a "home of hope" and dignity for many. In 1991, the organization
acquired land and established its first permanent facility. Over the years, through perseverance, prayer, and
generous support, Seirei Asha Bhavan has expanded its services to include special education, residential care,
vocational training, rehabilitation programs, and support for abandoned senior citizens.
For more than three decades, our mission has remained clear: to transform disability into
ability by providing love, care, training, and opportunities for every individual to live a meaningful and dignified
life.
At Seirei Asha Bhavan, we believe that every person has unique potential. With patience, proper guidance, and a
compassionate environment, individuals with intellectual disabilities can grow in confidence and actively participate
in society.
We remain deeply grateful to all our donors, friends, volunteers, and supporters who have walked with us throughout this
journey. Your encouragement continues to strengthen our mission.
Together, let us build a society where every life is valued, respected, and given the opportunity to flourish.
